We are celebrating 20 years here in Thornshaw Scientific Recruitment this week and since inception in 1999 we have come a long way. Not only have we established ourselves as a leading provider of staffing solutions to the Science sector, we are proud of the fact that we have had repeat business from every client we have worked with since the beginning.
Due to the 20 year milestone we’ve been thinking back to the work we’ve carried out over the years. Our partnership approach means that we not only understand our Client’s needs, but also those of our Candidates and we have built strong relationships with both over time. Our Consultants are instrumental to our business and we feel our success stems from the in-depth knowledge we have both in recruitment and within the Science, Clinical Research and Healthcare sectors.
We’ve asked some of our team to give their thoughts on how they have found their time working with Thornshaw and any changes the might have experienced; see our thoughts below:

“Technology has brought so many changes over the past 20 years. In 1999 we received CVs by post and sometimes used the fax machine for CV submissions. These have been good changes that have brought efficiencies in how we do business….but what stands out more over the years are the loyal Clients and Candidates that we have worked with and of course the great people we have been so lucky to have join the Thornshaw team.
